Ok so I have heard this band twice and I friggen love it!
I really think they need to go pro cause they are ahhhhhmazinnggg :). They're called Kid's These Days and I swear they are really good. They're from Chicago (obviously) and play at different lounges and high schools. Last time I saw them I was at Walter Payton Prep with a friend & they made the event better than it was. They covered some James Brown songs and played some of their original songs.
They're a jazz, soul, R&B, rap mix. There is one girl in the band who can sing her heart out, & can do it well. The rapper will rap to the melody of the song, and all the lyrics are original. Another guy sings along with the girl, there is a sax player who can "rock the house". I really recomend them to anyone looking for fresh, young talent. You can check them out at their myspace:
